Ragnar Granit Institute
Ragnar Granit Institute is an institute for research and education. It works in the field of Bioelectromagnetism and
Biomedical Engineering.
Jointly with the Ragnar Granit Foundation, the Ragnar Granit Institute also promotes the knowledge that Professor Ragnar Granit was
a Finnish-born Nobel Prize Laureate.
Ragnar Granit Institute is funded by the Ragnar Granit Foundation and project fundings obtained from other funding sources.
Ragnar Granit Foundation
The Ragnar Granit Foundation was founded in 1994.
The Founding Members of the Foundation were those institutes which were closely related to the life work of Professor Ragnar Granit.
These are:
- Academy of Finland
- University of Helsinki
- Nobelinstitute for Neurophysiology, Karolinska Institutet
- University of Oxford
- University of Pennsylvania.
